Christmas comes with the hustle and bustle of the busy season. This week let's pause for just a moment and take inventory of our thoughts. Don't let yourself get so busy that you miss all the little but important extras in this season. The beauty of a day, a smile of a friend. A hug from a loved one. It is often the smallest pleasures and gentle joys that make the biggest and most lasting difference. Feel every tear and every hardship turn into beautiful blessings. It’s the quiet holy feeling of love and hope as we reflect on the birth of our Savior Christ Jesus. Let life be a process and not a race. Each day is sprinkled with cups of blessings, take time to sit and drink in its goodness. Take time to start each day in God's Word. Take time to listen to Him whispering into your heart. He will tell of His precious love for you. Then your cup will be full as all the hustle and bustle rolls around you. May you have the gladness of Christmas, which is hope, the Spirit of Christmas, which is peace, the heart of Christmas which is love. Breath deep the sweet essence of Christmas.
