One Nation Under God

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen as His heritage!" Psalm 33:12

There's something about placing my hand over my heart and pledging allegiance to this beautiful land called America. A country that has provided me and all my loved ones the privilege of living in freedom. This is our inheritance by order of creation itself. When we salute the flag, we remember freedom is not free and remember those who died for liberty and justice. "One nation under God," means that we acknowledge God's part in our founding and in our future. It’s time to unite for the cause of Christ. There was a time when our enemies would look at this nation and say, "There’s something different." Has that time passed? Or can we unite and work for peace as "One Nation Under God," the one true God, the Sovereign of all nations. We give thanks for His grace poured so freely on our land, and acknowledge His holiness. It is only when we come to the point of “Lord, thy will be done” that we will have healing in our divided America. If you believe this is a Christian nation, take your faith seriously and rise up and proclaim, "In God We Trust!"
