"…Do not throw your pearls before swine" Matthew 7:6
This phrase can mean different things in different situations. Today I am speaking to balancing love with discernment. The dictionary defines a pearl as, “one that is very precious.” That is you, my friend! Too often, we as women make destructive choices that devalue who we are as a child of Christ. The enemy will attempt to invade your thoughts, actions, and emotions causing you to make unwise decisions eventually leading you to give your pearls to the swine (pigs). Satan wants you to doubt your self worth. How you view yourself will determine what you’ll tolerate. If your not careful you will perceive yourself as being unworthy of God’s best. If your pearls have been trampled upon, rest assured they can be restored to their original state. Take them back, they belong to you! Guard them by loving yourself unconditionally and valuing your God-given worth.
